DATA ANALYSIS WORKSHOP
FRIDAY, october 10
The workshop will be delivered by Sam Webb (SSRL) who will discuss the principles of XRF microanalysis and lead the group through several worked examples.
The software used will be the MicroAnalysis Tooklit (https://www.sams-xrays.com/smak) which will be downloadable before the workshop.
The main focus of the workshop will cover:
● Data Viewing
● XRF Analysis and Statistical Comparisons
● XRF Spectral Fitting
● Quantitative Analysis
● Importing Other Imaging Data
● FTIR/Raman Imaging
● Multimodal Statistical Analysis
The last section of the workshop will be dedicated to examples that the participants may have, either through their own data or further questions in the application of the software.
