The Emerging Professionals Seminar is a community-building forum for students (undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate) and early-stage career professionals. The Seminar will provide an informal platform to share ongoing research, obtain feedback, network with peers, and establish collaborations.
All participants in the Seminar will:
- Lightening talks. Give a short (~5 minute) presentation on any aspect of research, at any stage of completion; a moderated Q&A will follow all the presentations;
- Speed mentoring. Engage in a series of short one-on-one sessions with experienced mentors and senior researchers. Discussion can be related to any aspect of career development, from opportunities and challenges in the field, to specific skill sets, etc.
Participation in the Seminar is free of charge, but registration for the conference is required.

- Complete the conference registration, and indicate your interest in participating in the Seminar
Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Seminar.
